The Game

Developed by Numantian Games, They Are Billions is a steampunk strategy game set in a post-apocalyptic world, in which the players need to build and defend colonies to survive against the billions of zombies that seek to annihilate the few remaining living humans.

They Are Billions has been a huge success right from the start when it launched in Early Access on Steam (December 2017). It has sold more than 1,500,000 copies on both PC and Consoles and was praised by both the specialized press and the players.

The music of They Are Billions, composed under the pen-name Nicolas Diteriks, combines the colors of a dark and bombastic full orchestra with the rawness of harsh metallic textures.

The goal was to create a score that would reflect the game’s spirit and subtle balance: dark without being scary, quirky without being cartoony and steampunk without being stuffy... while bringing the tension and the epicness of incarnating the last bastion of humanity.
