Nicolas de Ferran is an international music composer, sound-designer, orchestrator and arranger based in Paris, France.

Nicolas started to study the piano at the age of eight and later went on to study jazz harmony, arranging and composition at the American School of Modern Music (now called “IMEP”) in Paris, France. In 2012, he won a scholarship to Berklee College of Music where he studied classical composition, orchestration and film scoring.

Shortly after returning to France, Nicolas started to write music for some of the most famous French TV-documentary shows. His music has been heard by millions of TV-viewers on primetime shows such as “Des Racines et des Ailes” or “Thalassa”.

 

Nicolas is also very active in the video-game industry, working on a great variety of projects, from mobile to AAA. In 2017, he scored the highly successful indie game They Are Billions, bringing his music to the ears of one and a half million players from all over the world.

His wide range of clients includes prestigious international companies and luxury brands such as Universal, Google, Guerlain, Sephora and more.

Nicolas also works on several personal projects, such as the critics-praised electro-acoustic duo ANKO.
